What if there can only be 16 colors?
If you are using Windows 95, you need a USB supplement. Please upgrade your Windows 95 to ] Windows 95B or higher.
If you are using Windows 98, ME or 2000, please make sure you have installed Motherboards’ latest AGP driver.
For NT 4.0 you need SP3 or SP4 upgrade which is the requirement for running AGP VGA. If the system did not upgrade or install properly, the following messages will appear:
System will ask for installing driver again but error messages will still appear.
Only can support 16 colors.
System will show your driver is not ready or mismatch.
No matter what OS you are using, if you use M/B with VIA, ALi, or SiS instead of Intel chip, you have to install “AGP.VXD”; otherwise, your system will not function properly. You can get a .vxd driver from M/B makers. If both USB and .vxd driver are installed, be sure the VGA driver has also been installed correctly. Please refer to “readme” file to install VGA driver.
If still can only get 16 colors, please uninstall VGA driver from Add/Remove Program and install VGA driver again
