NVIDIA Control Panel Disappear After Driver Installation
If your system matches the below configuration, you might find the NVIDIA control panel does not exist after you install VGA driver.
Operation System : English Windows Vista / Windows 7 x86 and x64. VGA driver : GeForce driver 190.xx – 195.62. Country option during your OS installation : Non native English country (In this case, Malaysia)
Solution: Please take the below procedures step by step sequentially (very important) before you install NVIDIA VGA driver. If you already installed NVIDIA VGA driver, please remove it at first.
Step 1: In Regional and Language Options, change Formats to English (United States) and press “Apply”.
Step 2: In Regional and Language Options, change Location to United States and press “Apply”
Step 3: In Regional and Language Options, change System Local to English (United States) and press “OK”. Note: This step needs to reboot your system.
Step 4: In Regional and Language Options, Copy your regional and language setting to Default user account and System account and press “OK”.
Step 5: You may install NVIDIA VGA driver now. After installation, you may follow step 1 to step 4 to change your regional setting back.
